Shorts views and the 2027 bar

From February 2027 a new applicant needs 1,000 subscribers plus 8,000 qualified watch hours or 20 million Shorts views, and Shorts pay needs 10 million Shorts views in 90 days. The page says what YouTube returned and what it could not split out, and tells you where in Studio the missing number is.

Qualified hours, per video

Your qualified hours in the last 365 days against 8,000, subscribers against 1,000, hours a week currently, and what that means per video: minutes watched by a typical viewer, long videos a month. Below: the calculator, sync or log revenue, and the roadmap to the bar.

Why it works this way

The bar is quoted from YouTube's rules with the link, the hours are your own, and where YouTube does not return a figure the page says so and points to Studio instead of guessing.
