Paste any YouTube link. We pull the real numbers, compare the video against the channel's own recent average, and run an AI teardown of the actual thumbnail, title and hook — then tell you exactly what to fix.
Common questions
Usually for one dominant reason rather than many. Check, in order: whether recent uploads fall below the channel's own median views; whether the videos that beat the median share a pattern you have stopped repeating; whether impressions turn into clicks (a title and thumbnail problem); whether clicks turn into watch time (an opening or pacing problem); and whether similar channels get more views on the same topics (a demand problem). Fix the first check that fails.
YouTube is showing your thumbnail and people are choosing something else, which is a click-through problem. Compare the video's click-through rate with your channel's other videos in YouTube Studio. If it is below your norm, make the title and thumbnail a clearer, more specific promise, and use Studio's thumbnail test to compare versions rather than guessing.
The packaging promises something the opening does not deliver quickly enough. A steep drop in the first thirty seconds of the retention curve followed by a flatter line means the hook needs fixing, not the thumbnail. State the payoff in the first sentence, cut the introduction, or change the title so it describes what the video actually is.
Whichever the numbers point at. Low impressions: the topic. Healthy impressions but low clicks: the title and thumbnail together. Healthy clicks but early drop-off: the opening. Testing a thumbnail on a video nobody wanted, or an opening on a video nobody clicked, wastes the test.
