What this page is

YouTube keeps its own list of tips for creators in its help centre. This page goes through that list one article at a time. For each one you get a line from us on what it is about, a link to read YouTube’s own article, and, where VideoCore can, the page that shows you that topic on your own channel’s numbers.

We do not repeat what YouTube’s articles say; read them on YouTube. Where VideoCore does not measure a topic, the row says so rather than pointing you at something that does not do it.

We compared this page with YouTube’s list on 30 October 2026 and it matched.

How this page is kept current

Once a week VideoCore reads YouTube’s Video tips list and compares it with the 50 articles on this page. If YouTube adds or removes an article, we are told the same day and update this page. The date at the top says when it last matched.

Of the 50 topics, 26 link to a VideoCore page or free tool that shows it on your own numbers. The rest are things VideoCore does not measure, such as filming, equipment and wellbeing.
