What it does

Every size YouTube serves

From the small 120×90 preview up to the full-HD 1280×720 maxres image — see which sizes exist for the video and grab the one you need.

Transcripts and comments from the same button

This is a 3-in-1 downloader: thumbnails, the full transcript (TXT, SRT, Markdown) and the comment thread (CSV or text) all download from the watch page you are already on.

Bulk transcripts from playlists and channels

Point it at a playlist, your Watch Later or a whole channel page and it collects the transcripts one by one into a single download.

Built for packaging research

Studying what the winning thumbnails in your niche do — composition, faces, text weight — is how packaging improves. Save references into a folder and study them side by side.

No data collected

Everything is read from YouTube in your own browser and goes to your downloads folder. The extension has no account, no tracking and no servers of its own.

How it works

  1. Install the extension from the Chrome Web Store
  2. Open any YouTube video or Short
  3. Press the button and pick thumbnail, transcript or comments

Privacy

🔒 No account, no sign-up, no analytics, no data collection. Thumbnails download directly from YouTube's own image servers; transcripts and comments are read from the page in your browser.

Questions

What sizes can I download?

Whatever YouTube has generated for that video — typically 120×90, 320×180, 480×360, 640×480 and, when available, the 1280×720 maxres version. The extension shows only sizes that actually exist.

Can I use someone else's thumbnail on my video?

No — thumbnails are the creator's work and re-using one on your own upload is a copyright problem. Download them to study, reference and learn from. Make your own better one.

Does it really do transcripts and comments too?

Yes — one extension, three downloaders. Transcripts export as plain text, SRT subtitles or Markdown (timestamps optional); comments export as CSV or text, replies included. Playlists and channel pages can be harvested in bulk.

Does it work on Shorts?

Yes — Shorts have thumbnails, captions and comments too, and the extension finds them the same way.

How do I know if my own thumbnail is working?

A thumbnail earns its keep in click-through rate. VideoCore's free video diagnosis reads a video's real performance and tells you whether packaging is the bottleneck.
