VideoCore is operated by Trinder Property Company Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 11887091), registered office 16 Clockburnsyde Close, Whickham, Newcastle Upon Tyne, England, NE16 5UR. For privacy questions, contact niels@videocore.uk. This policy covers the VideoCore web application at videocore.uk. The VideoCore Lens browser extension has its own privacy policy.
Some features use third-party AI providers (for example to generate scripts, summaries, or analyse a thumbnail). When you use these features, the relevant inputs are sent to the provider solely to produce your result. We use providers that do not train their models on data submitted through their business APIs. AI outputs are suggestions and are not guaranteed to be accurate.
We share data only with service providers ("processors") who help us run VideoCore, under contract and only as needed. These include our hosting provider, our payment provider, our email-delivery provider, and the AI and platform APIs described above. We may also disclose data where required by law. We never sell your data.
If you join or create a workspace, agency, or client portal, data added to it may be visible to other authorised members of that workspace according to their role. Workspace owners and admins control access.
Some of our providers may process data outside the UK/EEA. Where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as UK/EU adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses) to protect your data.
We keep your data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymise your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain certain records (e.g. billing/tax) to meet legal obligations.
Depending on your location, you have rights to access, correct, export, restrict, or delete your personal data, to object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent. You can do much of this from your account settings, or by emailing niels@videocore.uk. You also have the right to complain to your data-protection authority — in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to keep the service secure. We may use limited analytics to understand usage. We do not use advertising cookies. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
We protect your data with measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, access controls, and CSRF protection. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your data safe and to respond promptly to any incident.
VideoCore is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
We may update this policy. We'll update the date above and, for material changes, take reasonable steps to notify you.
